OUR RESIDENT SELECTORS

Bank Street Social's residents are some of Adelaide's most seasoned selectors, spinning soul, house, disco and everything in between.

TROY J BEEN

Adelaide-born and bred, Troy has been DJing since 1992, starting on the radio before moving into clubs. His eclectic, soulful sets run from jazz to soulful house and everything in between, always moving so you can’t predict what’s next. He has shared stages with Little Louie Vega, Bonobo, Dimitri From Paris and DJ Shadow, and built his craft through long residencies at Cargo, Supermild and Garage, plus 16 years at Lotus Lounge. A former host of The Cosmic Lounge, he plays fortnightly Thursdays for Vinyl Night and warms up regularly on Fridays and Saturdays.

SAM WALKER

Adelaide-born and raised, Sam plays soul, balearic, disco, house and future classics, and is just as happy warming up a room and setting the mood as he is driving a jumping dancefloor. He has been throwing parties since the early ’90s, played most of Adelaide’s best-loved bars, and appeared at Endless Grooves, Sanctuary and Disco’s Not a Dirty Word, supporting Mr Scruff and Cosmo. Influenced by David Mancuso, Larry Levan and Andrew Weatherall, he has hosted Raw Like Sushi on ThreeD Radio for 20 years, and has been a Friday night resident since day one.

FELICITY

Playful, soulful and irresistibly groovy, Felicity has been building fun, vibey dancefloors since 2015, sitting comfortably between underground and more accessible electronic music. Her house, disco and soul sets draw on 90s house, US garage and French touch, favoring uplifting grooves over dramatic build-ups and formulaic drops. She has supported Armand Van Helden, Sandy Rivera and Krystal Klear, played festivals including Electric Island, Neon Tides and Listen In, and hosted shows on Fresh FM and Duck Radio. A Bank Street Social resident since 2022, catch her fortnightly on Fridays and Saturdays.

MARKSEE

Markseee is an Adelaide DJ known for genre-blending sets that move between house, disco edits and nostalgic classics, always favoring feel-good grooves over predictable commercial sets. DJing since 2015, he has played Electra House, Sugar and Rocket Bar, and built a long-standing presence in Adelaide’s nightlife, supporting Late Nite Tuff Guy, Bontan and Cosmo’s Midnight. His sound draws on classic house, disco and funk, with a nostalgic pull toward 90s and 2000s dancefloor staples. A resident since 2017, catch him fortnightly on Saturdays.
